Kevin Spacey

 

The two time Academy Award winning actor and Old Vic Artistic Director is now based in London, where he first enjoyed onstage success alongside his mentor, Jack Lemmon in Long Days Journey Into Night.

After a successful decade starring in some memorable films (The Usual Suspects, GlenGarry Glen Ross, Seven, LA Confidential and American Beauty), Spacey has shifted his focus to the revitalization of the Old Vic Theatre. He has turned a venerable institution into a vibrant new company. He also launched the Old Vic/New Voices program, helping young people gain practical theatre experience that will help build character and confidence.

He will speak about the importance of theatre, culture and the arts and his speeches are peppered with personal stories and occasional impressions of some he has worked with and knows.
